El proyecto Instrucciones se enmarca dentro de mis investigaciones en torno a la sociedad de consumo y el capitalismo visual. El foco está puesto en la proliferación de imágenes de mi algoritmo y material de archivo, las cuales aluden a industrias de la moda, belleza y bienestar.

En su conjunto, las obras de esta exposición presentan un relato fragmentado de intereses personales, observaciones cotidianas, encuentros digitales fortuitos y forzados, así como también reflexiones sobre arquetipos en la historia del arte y la feminidad. 

Uno de los objetivos de este proyecto, además de profundizar en el imaginario de mi trabajo, ha sido experimentar con nuevas formas de presentación y montaje de obra, otorgándole un nuevo contexto al espacio de la galería y al propio trabajo. En Instrucciones, se conjugan óleos sobre tela e impresiones digitales desde una nueva espacialidad que hace referencia a mobiliarios de tiendas o concept stores (mediante colagdores, repisas, cajas retroiluminadas), con el fin de abrir caminos a futuros procesos materiales y conceptuales.

The project Instructions is set within my investigations into consumer society and visual capitalism. The focus is on the proliferation of images of my algorithm and archival material, which allude to the fashion, beauty and wellness industries.

Taken together, the works in this exhibition present a fragmented account of personal interests, everyday observations, fortuitous and forced digital encounters, as well as reflections on archetypes in art history and femininity. 

One of the objectives of this project, in addition to deepening the imaginary of my work, has been to experiment with new ways of presenting and mounting the work, giving a new context to the gallery space and to the work itself. In Instructions, paintings and digital prints are combined from a new spatiality that references concept store furnishing (such as hangers, shelves, lightboxes), with the aim of opening paths to future material and conceptual processes.
